Mark Taylor
Chief Operating Officer

Mark Taylor is the Chief Operating Officer for CM Capital Services.  In this role, he is responsible for evaluating and underwriting new real estate investment opportunities that come before the firm. 

Prior to joining CM Capital Services, Mr. Taylor was a Partner and Senior Vice President of Acquisitions for Westcorp Management Group where in 18 months he acquired 35 multifamily properties worth over $600 million, negotiated and settled complex contracts with lenders and joint venture equity partners, and helped expand the firm substantially amidst a challenging lending and real estate market.  Mr. Taylor also served as a Partner and Chief Operating Officer for Creative Sales and Marketing, where he helped run one of the largest condominium sales departments in Las Vegas, personally managing the operations side of sales and marketing for over 3,000 units during a three-year period.  Through that period he also oversaw the development of medical office buildings, hotels, restaurants, and multifamily construction.

Mr. Taylor’s professional career includes extensive sales experience with SCT Corporation, where he was the top sales associate during his time there.  Mr. Taylor was the third employee for Jet Blue Airlines where he focused on solidifying the company’s business plan and raised equity financing.   

Mr. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations from the University of Utah and is currently pursuing his Executive MBA from the University of Chicago.
